We accompany Muslim inmates on their journey within and beyond prison walls, providing meaningful resources such as letter exchanges, Islamic books, curriculum guides, postcards, personalized scholarly support, free issues of our Ṣirāṭ Link Magazine, and vital tools for rehabilitation.

“They feed the needy, the orphan, and the prisoner, out of love for Him.” Qur’ān, Sūrah al-Insān (76), Verse 8
We are an Islamic non-profit organization dedicated to the legacy of the 11th Imām, Ḥasan al-ʿAskarī (ʿa), who spent the majority of his life in prison and under house arrest by the corrupt ruler of the time. Imām al-ʿAskarī (ʿa) is the great grandson of our beloved Prophet Muḥammad (ṣ) and father of the 12th Imām, Muḥammad al-Mahdī (ʿaj).

What we do
Americans only represent 5% of the entire world’s population, but its inmates comprise nearly 25% of the entire world’s incarcerated population. That is 2.3 million inmates.
Without proper access to educational resources, most of these individuals will fall victim to the cycle of the revolving door and become repeat offenders.
We seek to provide the proper tools for change. Our initiatives aim to promote awareness of the true teachings of Islam through the moral and ethics teachings of the Noble Prophet (ṣ) and his divine household (ʿa) in our program.

Ṣirāṭ Link Magazine
The title “Ṣirāṭ Link” is inspired by the Arabic term “Ṣirāṭ al-Mustaqīm,” which means the right path. It features articles, poetry, puzzles, and a space to write questions to our Islamic scholars.
We pray that this magazine will be a means of guidance to the right path and facilitate a connection to Allah (swt), oneself, and the broader community. InshāʾAllāh it can serve as an opportunity for growing one’s faith through education.
